Amanda's Bio

I am a senior at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania dual majoring in Art Education and Photography while also acquiring a minor in Art History.

In high school I was the setter for the volleyball team, the point guard and/or the main shooting guard for the basketball team, and i ran hurdles and ran the 4x4 relay on the track and field team. I had the opportunity to go to states all 4 years of being on the track team and have my high school records in the 4x4 and the 100m high hurdles.

My freshman year at the University, I joined the track team, and was very out of shape. I made it through the season, and realized that I needed a job to pay for my art supplies. Something had to be cut, and it was the track team.

Truthfully, since that day I believe I've worked out less than 20 times. I'm not overweight, but I know I'm unhealthy and that working out would help to boost my confidence, energy, and overall health. I just have no motivation. In high school and on the college track team I had other people telling me how and when to work out, now it's up to me.. and I'm my own worst enemy.

Right now, I'm trying to get into shape so that in a year and a half when I graduate, I have lots of energy and confidence to teach and live my life fully and healthy.
